About our soap:
Our Handmade Milk & Honey Soap is inspired by our bees, using raw honey from our very own beehives; handcrafted in small batches and made from scratch using the cold-process method. We use simple, natural ingredients in our soaps (oils, beeswax, herbs, botanicals, clays & essential oils). No detergents, synthetic dyes, colors, perfumes or preservatives are added. The soaps are cured for at least 4 weeks or more to ensure a hard bar and plentiful lather.
Lavender Oatmeal is a simple soap with the clean, soft aroma of Lavender Essential Oil. The ground oats gives this soap light exfoliation.
Ingredients: Saponified Oils of Olive, Coconut, Palm, Castor, Beeswax. Eight Hands Farm Raw Honey, Goat's Milk, Old Fashioned Ground Oats. Lavender Essential Oil.
Our soaps are hand cut and weigh approximately 4 to 4.5 oz. Handmade soap will last a long time if kept dry between uses. We recommend using a draining soap dish and keeping bars away from direct streams of water.
Why use natural soap?
Why use Natural Handmade Soap? Most common soaps found in stores these days share more in common with washing powder then actual soap. True soap is made up of oils/fats and lye which creates soap and glycerin (a natural humectant, aka moisturizes the skin). In true soap, nothing is removed, nothing added, it's great as it is. Sometimes in mass produced soaps the glycerin is removed and synthetic ingredients, detergents & foaming agents are used in its place creating a bar of soap lacking all the good stuff for your skin.
